- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) at time of hire.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Sleep Disorders Specialty (SDS) required after 1 year of employment.
Regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods; occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs; and occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25 lbs.
ShiftNight shift;
Three 12-hour shifts per week (Monday – Saturday); 6:00 pm – 6:30 am.
The Polysomnography Technician will be responsible for providing sleep monitoring and interventions to all patients. The primary responsibilities include: registering patients; gathering patient pre-study paperwork; preparing patients and equipment for procedures; explaining procedures and interactions to patients; completing follow-up notes as needed; performing polysomnography studies and analyzing data to assist in obtaining proper diagnosis; entering charges; and cleaning all study equipment.
This position will also have some administrative and clerical responsibilities for the daily operations of the department.
EPIC, Nihon Kohden software experience preferred.
