Certified Medical Assistant – Isaiah House Treatment Center, Lexington, KY

Isaiah House is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to delivering high-quality substance use disorder treatment. We are seeking a dedicated and driven Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.

• Complete all required competencies
• Document vital signs, withdrawal scores, CLIA‑waived tests, and communicate progress to medical staff
• Maintain cleanliness of medical rooms
• File medical records for current and discharged clients
• Handle hygiene and vitamin requests weekly for all clients
• Gather necessary information and documentation prior to clients’ medical appointments
• Assist with appointment tracker entries
• Maintain weekly inventory of first aid, hygiene, and OTC products
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the medical office manager or LIP
• Apply knowledge of recovery and mental health within a residential or intensive outpatient setting

• Current, valid, unrestricted CMA license or certification
• Preferably at least two years of experience with a CMA license/certification
• Knowledge of recovery/mental health and experience with addiction in residential or intensive outpatient settings
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution (post‑hire acceptable)
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Valid Kentucky driver’s license
• American Heart Association CPR certification
