Experience:
5 yrs - Required License/Registration/Certification: Registered Dietitian and Kentucky Board of Licensure and Certification for Dietitians and Nutritionists
- Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of the position include occasionally holding and/or carrying objects up to and exceeding 50 lbs; repetitive motions; and sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time.
- Shift: Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM with occasional weekends and evenings per departmental needs.
The Clinical Nutrition Manager – Pediatrics assumes 24-hour responsibility for the administration of pediatric clinical nutrition services and the management of staff within the Children’s Hospital, including oversight of the Infant Nutrition Center and staff, NICU lactation consultants, NICU dietitians, and pediatric dietitians. The individual functions in a decentralized organization and is accountable to the Clinical Nutrition Director. The position requires knowledge and skill in clinical nutrition theory and practice, leadership and administration, principles of teaching and learning, budgetary management, and communication.
Knowledge, understanding, acceptance, and support of the philosophy, objectives, and policies of the Department of Clinical Nutrition and the institution are essential. There is an internal candidate being considered.
- Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and skills in leadership and/or management. The candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively in stressful, high-volume situations.

- Preferred Education/
Experience:
Prefer a minimum of 5 years in an inpatient hospital setting, with both Level 4 Neonatal ICU, pediatric ICU, and management experience.
