Responsibilities- Develop and implement various aspects of the expressive therapy program based upon each unit's needs and demographics.
- Develop and implement Recreation Therapy treatment plans in conjunction with and attend the interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Provide therapy consistent with level of growth, development, age, and functioning.
- Provide therapy consistent with overall treatment goals.
- Complete Recreation Therapy section of the treatment plan within 72 hours of admission for assigned patients.
- Complete progress notes for assigned patients.

Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy OR Master’s Degree in Art or Education required. Board certification (MT-BC) or eligibility to sit for national exam conducted through the Certification Board for Music Therapist (CBMT) licensure OR LPATA with supervision or LPAT/ATR-BC required. Previous inpatient mental health experience preferred.
