Outpatient Therapist

$5,000 Sign on Bonus – As the only free‑standing psychiatric hospital in Central Kentucky, we are expanding our services and seeking an Outpatient Therapist to join our team. The position is full‑time, day shift, and offers a supportive, patient‑centered environment.

• Provide therapeutic group and family treatment to patients with mental and substance abuse diagnoses.
• Coordinate treatment through treatment planning, the treatment team process, and utilization and review.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments.
• Assess, develop, and implement groups to enhance treatment of patients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in medical records.

• Education: Master’s degree in social work or other mental health field required.
• Certifications/Licensure: Certification or licensure in social/work or mental health field required (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, etc.). Crisis intervention training and CPR offered upon hire.

  Written and oral communication skills; case management; time management; knowledge of acute psychological disorders and principles of abnormal psychology; familiarity with follow‑up resource services; skills in conducting individual and family sessions; ability to maintain confidentiality; capacity to treat all age populations or develop skills through cross‑training; ability to summarize clinical information via written correspondence and documentation.
