- Provide group and individual psychotherapy interventions, psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, consultation, and education to patients with mental illness in a recovery-based inpatient setting.
- Provide graduate student supervision and participate in hospital education and various committees.
- Be an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Explore opportunities for research and development of evidence-based practice models.
- Engage in activities related to maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patient information.
- Participate in all activities regarding the elimination of seclusion and restraints in patient care, including educational requirements and performance goals.
- Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology is required, as well as a license to practice psychology in the state of Kentucky.
- Licensed Psychological Practitioner (LPP) or Licensed Psychologist by time of hire.
- 2 years of related experience; at least 1 year of experience in a professional setting conducting forensic psychological assessments is preferred.
- Computer competency in approved systems and excellent customer service skills.
- PhD/PsyD/EdD + 2 years of paid experience (which may include internship and/or post-doctoral training).
