Job Summary

This position will oversee assigned fuel zones regarding proper food safety & adherence to UK Performance Nutrition Standards. It will be responsible for maintaining par levels and managing the budget of the Olympic sports fuel zones. The employee will maintain food safety standards from federal, state & local agencies, counsel athletes on calorie needs, recovery from training & injury as assigned by supervisor, supervise student volunteers & dietetic interns, and assess and analyze dietary practices, body composition, and energy balance of student athletes in the context of athletic performance and health & provide appropriate Medical Nutrition Therapy as needed.

Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian, BS in Dietetics (MS preferred). CSSD preferred.
