Local Cath Lab Tech – Cardiac Cath Lab (Day Shift) – 3x12 + Call
We are seeking experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologists (ARRT) for a local contract opportunity in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab with cross-training into Neuro.
Shift & Schedule- Day Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
- Hours: 07:00 AM – 07:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Local rates apply for candidates within a 75-mile radius
- At least 2 call weekends every 8-week schedule
- Weekend call:
Saturday 7:00 AM → Monday 7:00 AM (48 hours)
- Weekend call:
- 1–2 weekday call nights
- Weekday call starts at 5:30 PM or 7:00 PM (based on staffing) and ends at 7:00 AM
- After Neuro training, call will be split between Cardiac Cath Lab and Neuro
- ARRT certification required (RCIS not accepted)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Experience with adult to geriatric patient population
- Strong computerized documentation skills
Candidates must be proficient in:
- Diagnostic right and left heart catheterizations
- Interventional cardiology procedures
- Rotablator
- IABP
- Closure devices
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Circulating and scrubbing procedures
- Sterile field and equipment setup
This role supports a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab with opportunities for cross-training into Neuro. Ideal candidates are confident, independent Cath Lab Techs who are comfortable with advanced procedures, rotating call, and a fast-paced environment.
