Job SummaryThe University of Kentucky invites applications for an Assistant Professor regular title series (tenure‑track) position in the College of Public Health, with expertise in research, teaching, and service in epidemiology and/or environmental health. Research activities of the faculty member are open to the specific focus of the candidate. Focus areas of particular interest include environmental epidemiology, cancer epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, substance use epidemiology, causal inference, and injury epidemiology.
The selected candidate will teach and mentor students in the College of Public Health at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. This is a 12‑month, full‑time continuous appointment.
The individual in this position will be expected to develop and/or continue their own research program and engage in collaborative research with other faculty from departments and research centers within the College and University. Other responsibilities include educational advising to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as serving on masters and doctoral committees. This position will require working relationships with faculty in other departments within the College and University, medical residents, and students.
The successful candidate will serve on appropriate committees and professional organizations on a regional or national level, along with appropriate College of Public Health, University and department committees.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in Epidemiology or Environmental Health with a focus related to epidemiology and/or environmental health.
