- The staff physical therapist shall evaluate and treat patients, develop a treatment plan and set goals for patients.
- Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and goals. The PT will complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies.
- The therapist will assist with the education of affiliating students, department staff, hospital staff, and the community therapist will appropriately delegate to and supervise physical therapist assistants and technicians.
- The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan. The therapist must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing or mobility
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy
- BLS
