** Nuclear Medicine TechPRN

Job Description:

* The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides health care services using radioisotopes to assist in diagnosis of cardiac specific pathologies.
* Performs Nuclear Medicine related procedures specific to MPI, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for the interpretation by a cardiologist.
* Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
* Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Requirements:
* Satisfactory completion of an education program in Nuclear Medicine.
* Current license with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) N or certificate with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
* Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
* Current Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required. PET certification recommended upon completion of 700 hours of clinical experience.
