Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the integrity of accounting operations and financial reporting. This position plays a critical role in managing the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with GAAP, strengthening internal controls, and delivering accurate financial insights to support operational and strategic decision‑making.

• Oversee daily general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Ensure reporting deadlines are consistently met
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights

• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal policies
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting

• Manage fixed asset accounting and lease tracking systems

• Coordinate and lead external audit processes
• Prepare schedules and respond to auditor inquiries

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting tools

• Partner with FP&A, operations, and other departments to support business initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
