Job Description:
Vaco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join agrowing finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles to support their operational and strategic objectives. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into key metrics and trends.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasting updates.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand operational drivers of financial performance.
- Support capital budgeting processes and financial feasibility analysis for potential investments and projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare presentations and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
Master’s degree is a plus. - Proven experience (typically 1-3years) in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with strong skills in Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quick Books) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: $60-75k.
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
