Engineering Intern – Summer 2026
Calling all undergrad civil engineering students! Collins offers an opportunity for a civil engineering student in the Lexington, Kentucky office. This position will be a combination of office and field work.
You will gain hands‑on experience on inspection and design projects, develop work zone traffic control plans, and assist with site‑specific health and safety plans. You will work with licensed engineers to prepare reports and plan sets using field data and design plans.
Responsibilities- Attend field inspections and gather data for reports.
- Assist in developing work zone traffic control plans.
- Contribute to site‑specific health and safety planning.
- Assist licensed engineers in preparing reports and plan sets.
