Construction Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager for an exciting 2-year project in Kentucky, with future opportunities on new assignments. This is an $85 million ground-up construction endeavor, adding a new addition to a pharmaceutical manufacturing campus. You will lead construction projects to successful completion, ensuring they are executed safely, on time, and on budget. You will collaborate closely with the Project Director and/or Senior Project Manager to guide engineering, construction management, and superintendent teams in achieving project goals.
The role offers a competitive salary with potential overtime compensation.
- Coordinate contractual requirements, project specifications, and design drawings.
- Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, procurement, billing, and cash flow projections.
- Conduct progress measurement, earned value analysis, schedule updates, and change management reporting.
- Prepare project documentation, including meeting minutes, monthly reports, and applications for payment.
- Oversee contract administration, punch lists, warranty review, and as-built documentation.
- Monitor project resources, maintain scopes of work, and communicate expectations across the team.
- Track and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and field conditions.
- Build and maintain client relationships and participate in schedule, safety, and quality oversight.
- Collaborate with Project Services on cost management and support safe project execution through coordinated site oversight.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to support successful project delivery.
- Strong construction background with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of project management and project delivery experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients, strong team building, and a strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage document control tasks, schedule adherence, and client communication.
Skills & Qualifications
- Manufacturing/Industrial experienceոյ, preferably with GMP on $20 million+ projects.
- Experience with large project management.
The position involves working on a project site with a focus on client engagement and team leadership. The work environment will require professional communication and a proactive approach to project challenges. The role is a salary position with opportunities for overtime compensation. Dress code and specific site conditions will be discussed during the interview process.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to scegliere position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62.50 - $77.00focus/hr.
