Salary Range: $58k-$82k (This position can be based out of Duffield, VA, Charlotte, NC, or Lexington, KY).

• Use technical knowledge to create product specifications that meet all customer requirements.
• Ensure overall product compliance within the development process; collaborate with other functional resources at each step and report project updates.
• Create test plans to ensure product meets the full range of requirements; troubleshoot and resolve issues as required to ensure product meets testing requirements.
• Work with marketing to develop claims and substantiate through validation testing.
• Initiate and own specification & manufacturing builds to determine the validity of the design through the manufacturing process, report design review and product validation.
• Actively participate in product development teams dedicated to ensuring the product is meeting the organization’s key metrics for performance, margin, and consumer and retailer satisfaction.
• Support new production processes and launches to ensure product is manufactured according to design, safety, and quality specifications.
• Assist in PD initiatives, communicate with customers and other resources as required to support product development initiatives and rollout; provide design and technical expertise as needed.
• Other duties as needed to support overall strategy and success of product development initiatives and rollout.
