Project Manager, Operations Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

As a Project Manager at Davis H. Elliot, you will be required to oversee Telecommunications Construction work in commercial, industrial, and healthcare environments. Responsibilities for this position will include:

• Ensuring safe performance of the work.
• Effectively communicating with Technicians, Electricians
  , Sub-Contractors
  , customers, engineers, and other employees.
• Developing new business and maintaining customer relationships.
• Assisting estimators on bids for new projects.
• Purchasing materials and contracting with subcontractors.
• Scheduling equipment, resources, and Work in Progress for active projects
• Financial management of projects, including billing, change management, and cost projections.
• Developing team members at all levels of the organization.
• Managing General Foremen and Foremen directly.
• Managing backlog and planning for future manpower needs.

• Passionate about the safety of fellow employees.
• Preferred: Engineering or construction management degree or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
• 5+ Years of experience recommended.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software,
  Bluebeam & Google Workspace, Microsoft Project, Plan Grid etc.
• BICSI Knowledge and certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with NEC, NFPA 70E, and local codes.
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
