Position Details- Full‑time faculty position with a 9‑month teaching load, non‑tenure track
- First‑year distribution of effort: 90% teaching and 10% departmental service
- Initial appointment for two years with potential renewal; promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years
- Teach introductory and advanced undergraduate mathematics courses, including large‑class instruction
- Mentor graduate students and provide academic advising
- Participate in departmental service and administrative duties
- Contribute to the department’s teaching mission and pursue a long‑term teaching career within the department
- Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field (by the time of appointment)
- Demonstrated teaching excellence and experience with large‑class courses
- Administrative, organizational, and mentoring skills required for teaching and coordinating large classes
