Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM – 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday.
Job SummaryThe Early Childhood Lab within the College of Education serves as a model site for training teachers. The Infant/Toddler Teacher responsibilities at the Early Childhood Lab are:
- Supervise 6–8 infants and toddlers in a classroom setting
- Plan a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all the children.
- Children are assessed by the teacher, and individual goals are incorporated into the curriculum.
- The teacher collaborates with First Steps and families to provide services for children with and without disabilities.
- The Infant/Toddler Teacher also provides a model classroom and is an active participant in observations by UK students and student workers.

Preferred Education/ExperienceBachelors in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education.
IECE or seeking IECE at the Master’s Level
