Lecturer – College of Nursing – Simulation (College of Nursing, Undergraduate Program), Lexington, KY.

The University of Kentucky College of Nursing is seeking a Lecturer (tenure‑ineligible) for a nine‑month appointment (August 16 – May 15) with a projected Distribution of Effort of about 90% teaching and advising and 10% professional development/service. The position is on‑site, with an anticipated start date of April 15 2026, but no later than May 1 2026, and will remain open until filled.

• Design, develop, and deliver simulation lab instruction for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Coordinate with faculty and staff to align simulation content with curriculum.
• Evaluate nursing content and interventions to ensure curriculum remains current.
• Assist in the operation of the Clinical Simulation and Learning Center, including maintenance of equipment.
• Engage in professional development and service activities as required.

• Earned Master’s Degree in Nursing; DNP or PhD in Nursing preferred.
• Active, unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of BSN‑prepared nursing experience within the last 5 years.
• Preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education (curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation) preferred.
• Successful teaching experience in clinical simulation with low and high‑fidelity simulators preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience using interactive and simulated technology.
