Job SummaryThe University of Kentucky College of Nursing Undergraduate Program is seeking a Lecturer (tenure‑ineligible) for a 9‑month appointment with an anticipated distribution of effort of about 90% teaching and advising, and 10% service/professional development, reviewed annually. The position is onsite and based in Lexington, KY, and will assist and resource the Undergraduate BSN program by delivering skills‑lab instruction, including teaching fundamental and advanced nursing skills, supervising students in simulated settings, advising them, and serving on college committees.
Clinical practice, academic scholarship, and membership in professional organizations are required. Ideal applicants will have experience teaching BSN students in core adult health nursing areas such as health assessment, health promotion, medical‑surgical nursing, or pathopharmacology. The required education and experience include an earned Master’s degree in Nursing; a DNP or PhD in Nursing is preferred. An active, unencumbered Kentucky license as a registered nurse and at least two years of BSN‑prepared nursing experience in the last five years are required.
