Lower School Spanish Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Kentucky Country Day School is seeking a long-term substitute Lower School Spanish teacher for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. The ideal applicant will be a Spanish speaker with elementary classroom experience. The schedule requires working Monday-Friday from 8:00 am‑4:00 pm. Daily rate of pay: $135.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assume duties of the classroom teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
- Follow lesson plans, all KCD policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
- Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions, and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Performs other professional tasks (within reason) as may be assigned by the Division Director or the Head of School.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience working with school-age children.
- Experience working in a JK-12 school setting.
- Classroom management experience.
