Job SummaryMartin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Department of Forestry and Natural Resources seeks an Agriculture Extension Associate
.
This position will assist in Forestry and Natural Resources Extension activities, including, but not limited to:
- Conducting hunter recruitment, shooting sports and game processing programming aimed at engaging and recruiting the public in these activities
- Create surveys to determine program effectiveness and administer those surveys to attendees and utilize collected information to better align resources and programming efforts
- Creation and preparation of education materials, aid in grant reporting requirements
- Oversight and coordination of activities with collaborators including Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources and associated non-government organizations
- Providing support to others working on aligned projects including Cook Wild KY
- Performing related tasks as they arise
The Extension Associate will participate in extension and outreach activities and participate in professional development activities, as well as attend relevant and agreed-upon scientific and outreach conferences.
