The CARES First‑Generation Student Leadership and Support Service Ambassador serves as a key ambassador and operational support role within the CARES First‑Generation Student Success Center. This position creates a welcoming, inclusive, and student‑centered environment while supporting day‑to‑day operations of the office, including services, events, activities, and front desk operations. Student Leaders are the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and campus partners, providing accurate information, assisting with program and service navigation, supporting student intake, and modeling professionalism, care, and accountability consistent with CARES First‑Generation values.
In addition to front desk responsibilities, Student Leaders assist with outreach efforts, communication support, data tracking, event fruitful, and special projects that advance the ACT model. Through this work, Student Leaders gain meaningful leadership experience and exposure to student success operations, peer support practices, and higher education administration.
