Responsibilities
- Assist student‑athletes in UK Athletics with understanding course materials during individual sessions.
- Provide one‑on‑one instruction to develop time management techniques and improve study skills.
- Maintain confidentiality of student‑athlete academic information.
- Report to sessions on time and submit accurate tutor report forms.
- Follow policies of CATS, UKAA, SEC, NCAA, and University of Kentucky.
- Report concerns regarding academic dishonesty to the CATS Staff/Compliance Office.
- Complete any additional duties assigned by the Academic Services Counselor.
- Work with all UKAA staff to support student‑athlete success.
Qualifications
- Must have completed at least 60 credit hours of college work.
- Must have a 3.0 GPA and an A or B in all courses selected to tutor.
- Must have received a B or better in the equivalent course they would like to tutor.
- Full‑time UK employees may not apply.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
