Responsibilities

• Assist student‑athletes in UK Athletics with understanding course materials during individual sessions.
• Provide one‑on‑one instruction to develop time management techniques and improve study skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of student‑athlete academic information.
• Report to sessions on time and submit accurate tutor report forms.
• Follow policies of CATS, UKAA, SEC, NCAA, and University of Kentucky.
• Report concerns regarding academic dishonesty to the CATS Staff/Compliance Office.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by the Academic Services Counselor.
• Work with all UKAA staff to support student‑athlete success.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least 60 credit hours of college work.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA and an A or B in all courses selected to tutor.
• Must have received a B or better in the equivalent course they would like to tutor.
• Full‑time UK employees may not apply.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
