This 12‑month, non‑tenure‑eligible open rank position will begin as early as Fall 2025 or Spring 2026. The primary duties involve instruction, training, and advisement for students across all academic programs housed in the College of Social Work. The position will also be responsible for curriculum development of graduate‑level programming and participation in scholarly activities.
Responsibilities- Provide instruction, training, and advisement for students across all CoSW academic programs.
- Develop and revise graduate‑level curricula.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including online and hybrid formats.
- Participate in scholarly activities and research as appropriate.
- Conduct office hours, attend administrative meetings, and participate in college‑wide events on campus.
- Adhere to the Faculty Distribution of Effort (DOE), aligning instructional effort with university expectations.
- PhD in Social Work or related field, OR DSW.
- Two years post MSW practice experience.
- Demonstrated experience teaching at the university level.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and a commitment to high‑quality instruction.
- Commitment to active scholarly activities.
- Ability to develop course material for online and hybrid delivery.
