Lexington, KY. Salary: $12 per hour. Type:

- Play with and supervise young children in the Early Childhood Lab.
- Assist classroom teachers with cleaning, organizing, and daily routines.
- Read to children and supervise activities, including walks on campus and outdoor time.

Education:
Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education or Psychology are preferred; other fields may be considered if the applicant has a strong background in early childhood. - Required Related
Experience:
Experience working with young children, preferably in school settings. - Preferred Experience:
Have cared for children in child care or at home.
- Current negative TB test (within the last 2 years) or willingness to obtain one.
- CPR and First Aid certification required within 3 months of employment.
- Finger print background check required for all employees; to be completed when an offer is made.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, push strollers, and get up and down from the floor several times a day. Children go outside at least twice daily; teachers supervise outdoor activities.
ScheduleOpen 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
