UK Healthcare is seeking a dynamic, nationally recognized physician leader to serve as Division Chief of Vascular Surgery. UK Healthcare's division of Vascular and Endovascular surgery is a branch of the nationally recognized Gill Heart & Vascular Institute , the preeminent destination for cardiovascular care in Kentucky.
The incoming Division Chief will be responsible for advancing a renowned division known for its pathology, research, and surgical expertise through a wide range of strategic program development activities including (but not limited to): recruiting and mentoring faculty, launching and leading a new integrated vascular surgery residency program, and influencing health system-wide service line development and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional clinical expertise in treatment of complex vascular disease, a demonstrated commitment to education and research, and a proven ability to lead cultural transformation in complex academic medical settings.
Qualifications
• Board certified in Vascular Surgery
• Record of a high-acuity and high-volume clinical practice
• Clinical expertise in treatment of complex vascular disease that includes advanced endovascular of both open and hybrid approaches
• National recognition for academic or clinical contributions including clinical, basic or translational research.
• Familiarity with integrated and traditional vascular surgery training models
