Job Summary: Create a positive member experience by providing superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests. Close the day’s shift and prepare an accurate bank deposit for the next day.

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk activities:
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members into the system.
• Process new member sign‑ups.
• Conduct tours for prospective members.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager when necessary.
• Maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
• Close the shift and finalize the day’s operations.
• Create a bank deposit for the next day.

• Preferred customer service background.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally with members and co‑workers, exceeding member expectations.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to empathize and problem‑solve.
• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Continual standing and walking during shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to work 3rd shift (overnights).
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Potential exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
