Job Summary
The student will strive to improve skills as a sports photographer, learn about working in college athletics, and to gain necessary experience for being successful in the sports industry. Other responsibilities include:
- scheduling office time with athletics photographers each week to go over loose edits, questions, and learn new skills. Other responsibilities include:
- Attending brainstorming meetings with photo and design staff for each sport when possible
- Contributing fresh ideas to the team
- Shooting weekly games and events with photography staff
- Attending scheduled photo shoots
- Covering games and events
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Applicant should have a strong knowledge of, and interest in, intercollegiate athletics. Must be able to work evenings/weekends to fulfill gameday responsibilities.
