SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

We are currently seeking passionate students who want to gain experience in construction and construction management to join our Jostin Construction family. The co-op position will report to the Vice President of General Construction and provide support throughout a construction project. The person in this position needs to have the ability to be flexible as this position may perform various functions throughout the workday.

The person in this position will need to be comfortable working in a public setting. Jostin requires all Co-ops and employees to work collaboratively as a team with other Jostin employees and trade partners.

KNOWLEDGE:

* Knowledge of general construction

* Knowledge of power tools

* Knowledge of construction estimating.

* Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices on a construction site

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE IN:

* Construction Project Management

* Have the ability to be flexible and perform various tasks during work shift.

* Assisting Superintendents

* Assisting Project Managers

* Assisting Project Engineers

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

* Be comfortable working in public settings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in:
Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or any other related program with a focus in the construction industry

* Valid driver's license

* Ability to successfully pass a drug screening.

* The ability to work irregular hours, including weekends when necessary.

* Arrive at work on time (Allow time for parking, gathering PPE, etc.)

Due to the nature of work on construction sites and company policy, all co-op students must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.
