Business Analyst

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Davis H. Elliot Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Business Analyst to support our Operations Team in improving efficiency and identifying cost-saving opportunities. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. • Analyze regional financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Evaluate, interpret, and communicate findings regularly
• Maintain system processes and deliver monthly status reports
• Respond to inquiries from managers and executives professionally
• Act as a liaison between Operations and Corporate Finance/Accounting
• Prepare journal entries to reallocate costs across jobs or cost centers
• Assist Operations Admin team with reporting and various tasks
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Commitment to maintaining professional knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Spectrum, SAP)
