A Day in the LifeA day in the life of an Experienced Automotive Apprentice at Auto Excel is never dull. You'll begin your day by inspecting and diagnosing vehicles to identify any issues. From there, you'll work on repairs and maintenance, ensuring that each vehicle is fixed correctly the first time. You'll communicate effectively with customers, providing status updates and answering any questions they may have.
You'll maintain a high level of efficiency and uphold ethical business practices, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our services. It''s a challenging and rewarding role that requires a passion for automobiles and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Two years of experience as a technician in the automotive industry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE certification in the eight areas pertaining to automotive repair
- Neat appearance
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and with co-workers and management
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to diagnose and perform repairs and maintenance on automobiles
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read schematics
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Necessary tools to perform required tasks
- Ability to operate all company equipment needed to perform required tasks
- Dependability
- Ability to achieve and maintain an efficiency of 125%
This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
