Job SummaryThe College of Pharmacy is seeking an Administrative Support Associate I.
The position will serve as the Operations Facilitator ‘Subject‑Matter‑Expert’ (SME) that will process a variety of financial transactions daily including, but not limited to travel vouchers, PRDs, SRMs, pro‑card edits, and goods confirmations. They will safeguard the funds disbursed by ensuring the stewardship and appropriateness of expenditures; compliance with all laws, regulations, and restrictions regarding the COP’s disbursement activities; ensuring a working knowledge in all respective disbursement areas.
They will coordinate the timely flow of assigned purchasing request documents received by the Centralized Business Office (CBO) and log each document into the appropriate transaction log, verify sufficiency of funds in accounts and ensure appropriate approvals support each transaction prior to processing.
Serves as a liaison between the COP and UK Central units (e.g., Accounts Payable, Purchasing, etc.) regarding disbursement activities. When required, the SME is responsible to train and educate COP constituents on university and COP policies and procedures surrounding financial transactions to ensure compliance. Will effectively cross‑train designated colleagues on procedures to secure seamless continuity of CBO operations during periods of absence.

Solid understanding of UK disbursement procedures; MS Office, Adobe, SAP.
