Job SummaryThis position in the Office of Sponsored Projects Administration (OSPA) is responsible for completing the administrative closeout process for sponsored projects.
Tasks Include But Are Not Limited To- Running and distributing a report of accounts that have closed in the OSPA database (aka, the closeout report)
- Reviewing the sponsored project account based on specified criteria and documenting those in the report
- Communicating information from the report to other UK units, and marking and moving the electronic files for record retention purposes.
This STEPS staff member will be expected to handle a large volume of outstanding closeouts as well as newly closed accounts. Applicants should have experience in organizing and extracting data from an Excel spreadsheet, familiarity working with electronic files, close attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
