Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Our client, a respected organization in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting essential accounting operations.

What You'll Do:

+ Assist with monthly close processes and financial reporting.

+ Set up customer accounts, payroll allocation, and manage job closures.

+ Prepare financial reports, including aging schedules and WIP summaries.

+ Process invoices and assist with credit card reconciliations.

+ Respond to audit requests with accurate documentation.

+ Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.

+ Take on additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed.

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with general accounting systems.

- Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.

- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- At least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.

- Familiarity with financial systems such as Spectrum or similar platforms.

- CPA certification or eligibility is a plus.
