THE WORK

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop compelling narratives that support business and risk‑management objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to uncover novel data sources, ensure data quality, and deliver actionable insights through visualizations and dashboards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect, process, and analyze data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions.
  • Apply proven statistical methods to draw insights and translate them into actionable business results.
  • Identify and acquire novel data sources to enrich analyses.
  • Perform data mining, processing, and summarization while ensuring data quality.
  • Query databases, ensure quality of data scraping, and resolve data issues promptly.
  • Analyze large datasets, derive valid inferences, and prepare and present insights via narratives, visualizations, or dashboards.
  • Establish and maintain data pipelines and new analytics capabilities.
  • Produce and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems.
  • Program‑management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule objectives.
  • Perform root cause analysis using analytics.
TRAVEL & SECURITY CLEARANCE

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level. The position requires ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and involves around 10% travel. This position requires the ability to travel to customer and Lockheed Martin sites as required.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or similar related field with 5+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL, SharePoint, Tableau, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) 4790.2 maintenance documentation requirements.
  • Experience with Lean and Root Cause Analysis and certification.
  • Experience with DoD Supply Chain including but not limited to DLA and NAVSUP.
Desired skills
  • Master’s degree desired.
  • T/M/S H-53 Maintenance Knowledge.
  • LSS/Blackbelt certification.
  • H‑53 Maintenance knowledge/experience.
  • Experienced with the application of statistics and data‑mining (trend discovery and analysis, text mining, correlation and pattern discovery).
  • Demonstrated excellent team building and interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with key internal and external stakeholders, and employees at all levels across multiple geographic locations.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams, both remote and in‑person.
