Job DescriptionDescription
The Federal Financial Specialist will serve as a member of the Functional Team and will primarily support the project's Asset Management/Data Management efforts. The Team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of Finance Business Processes, Asset Management, Data Management/Normalization, Internal Controls, and Financial Management in support of our client’s efforts to produce auditable Financial Statements. Analysts will also have administrative reporting responsibilities, maintain databases, metrics, and conduct data entry.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in one of more of the following capabilities:
Financial Management;
Process Design/Re-engineering;
Audit/Internal Control Testing;
Financial Reporting;
Asset Management; ERP/Information System Analysis & Implementation - Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office
- Systems Implementation
- ERP/Information System Analysis
- Asset Management
- Knowledge of Federal Accounting concepts and requirements
- Federal Government Accounting and/or Auditing experience
- Understanding of the DoD's financial environment and operations
- CPA, CGFM, or CDFM are a plus
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and motivated
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
- Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
