Description

The Federal Financial Specialist will serve as a member of the Functional Team and will primarily support the project's Asset Management/Data Management efforts. The Team member will be required to gain a working knowledge of Finance Business Processes, Asset Management, Data Management/Normalization, Internal Controls, and Financial Management in support of our client’s efforts to produce auditable Financial Statements. Analysts will also have administrative reporting responsibilities, maintain databases, metrics, and conduct data entry.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in one of more of the following capabilities:
  Financial Management;
  Process Design/Re-engineering;
  Audit/Internal Control Testing;
  Financial Reporting;
  Asset Management; ERP/Information System Analysis & Implementation
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Office

• Systems Implementation
• ERP/Information System Analysis
• Asset Management
• Knowledge of Federal Accounting concepts and requirements
• Federal Government Accounting and/or Auditing experience
• Understanding of the DoD's financial environment and operations
• CPA, CGFM, or CDFM are a plus
• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and motivated
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
• Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
