Clearance Required:

Active SECRET. This position will require some travel.

• The selected applicant will collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and financial information relating to aircraft weapons systems acquisition and product programs.
• Tracks program/project status and monitors schedules.
• Applies policies and procedures for financial planning.
• Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability and/or maintainability programs and information systems technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems program and logistics requirements and resources.
• Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information.

• Education:
  
  MA/MS degree.
• Experience:
  
  Over 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description. A Bachelor’s plus two years additional work experience, an Associate’s plus four years additional work experience, or six years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.
• Prior military or civilian exposure to the NAVAIR command structure is desired. Prior understanding of principles and structure of military aircraft maintenance is desired. Prior civilian (civil aviation/commercial airline) or military aviation background (USN/USMC/USAF) with experience on US military Aircraft Processors, Communication Systems, and Mission Computers will significantly aid the candidate in performing the duties for this position.

• Salary:
  The projected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
