Precise Systems seeks a Work Center Lead to manage Technicians as directed by Work Center Supervisor in service to Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL).
All work is performed on site, in Lexington Park, MD.
Duties- Lead, as directed, day‑to‑day maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft, equipment, and machinery.
- This position requires the application of professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturer’s manuals.
- Coordinate and lead activities of personnel, determining and directing specific work assignments.
- Assist in the operations of the maintenance departments per the NAVAIRINST 3710.1G.
- Ensure full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
- Ensure all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Be responsible for compliance with special programs as assigned.
- Ensure employees within the work center are fully compliant with all approved procedures.
- Ensure all maintenance employees receive job and safety training.
- Identify material and special tooling needed to accomplish the daily work assignment.
- Provide employees with proper training on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Provide technical training and assistance as needed.
- May lead and direct a group of two or more individuals.
- May be required to go on detachments and perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate’s Degree or trade license preferred.
- A&P License/FAA Certification desired.
- Candidate must have had corrosion control training.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the aircraft Jamming Pods to include Next Gen Jammer maintenance environment.
- POC or Back up Lead experience desired.
- Good working knowledge of shipping and receiving assets as needed.
- Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.
- The individual assigned must have the ability to plan, schedule maintenance work requirements, and possess a working technical knowledge of aircraft, machinery, facilities, and equipment.
- The employee has to have a detailed knowledge of Jamming Pods unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, etc.
- The assigned individual must have a strong mechanical aptitude in order to offer technical direction in all maintenance areas and knowledge of supply procedures. Understand technical language terms in a relevant technical field.
- Complete knowledge and understanding of the NAVAIRINST 3710.1G.
- Experience with Naval Aviation systems, particularly EW platforms and subsystems.
- Familiarity with ALQ-249 (NGJ) and ALQ-99 systems.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer‑related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation for this position ranges from $68,952.32 to $ (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
