• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills

Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly the Produce Department, and help customers on the store floor as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Properly bagging groceries for customers and carrying out groceries when requested.
• Maintaining store cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Retrieving and returning store carts, running price checks, assisting with go‑backs, check‑stand upkeep, and removing waste from the parking area.
• Performing other essential functions in a fast‑paced grocery environment, such as lifting, standing, walking, and visual/auditory tasks.
