Position: Senior Category Manager
- Direct Procurement

Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Lewisville, Texas

- Direct Procurement to join their team!

Join a dynamic organization where you will lead the charge in optimizing procurement strategies for third-party towing-related services. This role offers the chance to shape the future of category management with innovative solutions and strategic supplier relationships. The company is expanding its operations and needs a dedicated professional to ensure excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and maintain a 3–5 year Strategic Category Plan
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs
• Build strong relationships with key vendors
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with top suppliers
• Lead strategic sourcing events for towing and subletting services
• Negotiate contracts focusing on rate optimization
• Translate strategy into contracts, policies, and execution
• Assess and mitigate risks related to vendor capacity
• Explore innovative solutions like digital dispatch
• Benchmark against industry leaders for service improvement

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain
• Proven ability to negotiate service agreements
• Strong analytical skills for cost evaluation
• Experience engaging with senior leadership

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of towing or fleet operations
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience with digital dispatch or GPS tracking solutions

• Interview process involves two onsite rounds, with the second being the final
• Onsite work is required 2-3 days a week
