Highlights

The Level 1 IT Support Specialist is responsible for frontline technical support, ticket triage, and standardized hardware and software support across all Dyna Grid locations. This role focuses on repeatable, documented issues and ensures accurate documentation and proper escalation when necessary. The position is execution-focused and does not include infrastructure design or advanced systems administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Log, track, and properly document all tickets in the IT tracking system.
  • Resolve common Tier 1 issues including password resets, account unlocks, MFA troubleshooting, printer issues, and basic connectivity problems.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Prepare and deploy new laptops and desktops following documented build procedures.
  • Maintain accurate asset inventory records.
  • Install approved software applications.
  • Escalate issues appropriately with detailed troubleshooting notes.
  • Provide basic onsite technology support for operational offices and jobsites.
  • Assist with IT inventory audits and equipment returns.
Your Unique Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of IT support experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow documented processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, Wi-Fi, Ethernet).
  • Comfortable working onsite in a professional office environment.
Performance Expectations
  • Proper documentation of 100% of tickets.
  • Resolve at least 70% of Tier 1 tickets without escalation within 60 days.
  • Meet established SLA response times.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking records.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of knowledge base documentation.
Physical Skills and Essential Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
