Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process and audit payroll for multiple states, including regular pay, bonuses, commissions, garnishments, and benefits deductions using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee data accurately in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, SOX controls, and payroll regulations.
  • Evaluate and validate timesheets; investigate and resolve discrepancies with employees, supervisors, and HR.
  • Respond to and resolve employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and timeliness.
  • Generate, review, and interpret payroll reports for audits, management reporting, and funding purposes.
  • Document and maintain payroll procedures; contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to support initiatives and ensure payroll integration aligns with business needs.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience in Payroll support for the US, Canada and Mexico is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll law and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and apply insights to business decisions.
  • English Level: B2/B3
