About

The Role

The Work Management Specialist supports the online work control process, assists with developing work packages, ensures reporting and capture of completed work, tracks work order status, and ensures all project documentation is collected for project closeout. This position is 100% onsite Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish office functions to support the execution of work in the field
  • Primary point of communications with the customer on work order scheduling, status, changes, and closeout
  • Provide field support for work package revision/field changes, problem resolution, and work package/work order interpretation
  • Coordinate with customer for order and delivery of major materials
  • Coordinate with Billing function to facilitate timely, accurate invoicing
  • Coordinate activities of other office personnel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications
  • An ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree; high school diploma or GED is required
  • 2‑3 years of experience in an office support role
  • Demonstrated experience in developing/maintaining project plans and schedules
  • Experience reading, evaluating, interpreting, and communicating provisions of contracts preferred
  • Experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions
  • Proficient with PC operating systems and several basic software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled in oral and written communication and fundamentals of work scheduling
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior, integrity, and trust
  • Actively demonstrate United Utility company values and support the United Utility Ethics and Standards
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a working knowledge of United Utility and client technical manuals and procedures; pass required training and qualifications; subject to personnel call‑out as required in support of nuclear station emergent work requirements; willingness to work overtime, shift work, weekends, and holidays as needed; and pass all background and screening requirements, including drug and/or alcohol screening
Key Information

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, talk or hear, perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms.
