This position merges direct student engagement with forward-thinking program design, allowing you to shape individual readers while constructing a system that delivers foundational literacy across multiple campuses.

• Leading adaptive reading workshops that build foundational competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Creating personalized motivational experiences that engage children and foster a lifelong passion for reading.
• Examining student performance data to iteratively improve your methods and generate actionable insights.
• Partnering with the technology team to assess and refine AI literacy tools.

• Bachelor’s degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students.
• Capable of assessing reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction without relying on pre-written curricula.
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning tools and able to respond to student behaviors within them.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Prepared to work on-site at one of our campuses:
  Chantilly (Washington), VA;
  San Francisco, CA; or New York City, NY.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
