As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoys playing music while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Teach students utilizing the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with Customer service as needed, building long‑term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and recognizing parents as the child’s Music Teacher.
• Communicate with students and/or parents about each student’s progress.
• Share students and/or parents’ goals and progress frequently.

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument that they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard).
• Skill and competency in the area they will be teaching.
