Project Accountant
Are you a detail‑driven accounting professional who enjoys partnering across teams and keeping projects financially on track? Join our team as a Project Accountant and play a key role in ensuring project costs are accurate, compliant, and billed correctly.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze project financials to ensure accurate costing and timely client billing
- Partner closely with Project Managers, Account Coordinators, Finance, and Client Teams
- Support revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliation at the project level
- Monitor open projects and prepare weekly billing status reports
- Review and code a high volume of invoices to the appropriate G/L accounts
- Collaborate with Procurement and Accounts Payable to resolve outstanding invoices
- Ensure deposit invoices and billing activities follow established accounting guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 1–5 years of cost accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to analyze labor, material, and overhead costs
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
