The nurse provides emotional support to patients and families.
The role includes administering medications and performing cervical exams within scope.
The RN interprets fetal monitoring strips and prepares patients for operative deliveries.
Providing postpartum education is also part of the responsibilities.
This nurse plays a critical role in promoting a positive birth experience.
Ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and newborn is a priority.
