Market Manager - ILSCO/ERICO - Commercial USA Sales – Electrical Connections

Join nVent as a Market Manager, responsible for leading demand creation and product expertise for the ILSCO/ERICO brands throughout the United States Commercial Market.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    Develop and implement sales strategies, including tailored value propositions for contractors, end‑users, specifying engineers, and channel partners to achieve revenue growth targets and expand market share across the US.
  • Leadership & Sales Enablement:
    Lead product training programs, mentor RSMs, agents, and channel sales teams, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Revenue, Performance, and Demand Management:
    Manage quotes, pricing, and critical metrics to ensure profitability; analyze sales data to uncover trends; lead demand creation and revenue growth for key products; support distributor inventory planning.
  • Customer and Field Engagement:
    Provide product expertise, coordinate responses to end users, specifiers, and channel partners; build and maintain relationships with key customers and distribution partners; advocate for the customer in internal processes; represent nVent at industry events.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives, including new product introductions, marketing programs, promotions, forecasting, and cross‑brand opportunities.
  • Sales Operations:
    Use CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to lead opportunity pipeline and communicate feedback internally.
  • Performance Analysis:
    Monitor sales data, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product sales experience in electrical or industrial markets, with knowledge of electrical grounding and bonding.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product development and product management.
  • Must be able to travel on average 60% of the time across the US and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills, able to collaborate and reach consensus.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (preferred) or equivalent technical sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B industrial or electrical product sales.
  • Familiarity with channel sales and distribution networks.
Benefits & Pay
  • Pay range:
    Geographic Region A: $114,500 – $212,600;
    Region B: $119,200 – $221,400;
    Region C: $130,100 – $241,500.
  • Total target cash includes base salary and sales incentive when goals are met.
  • Additional compensation may include annual incentives.
